ABOUT ME
My name
is Jamie Gannon; I’m twenty years old and currently living in Dunboyne. I am
currently going to TUD in the Blanchardstown. I'm now in my second year
studying Creative Digital Media and now that I’m looking back at last year I'm
able to say that my favourite module last year had to be storytelling and
narrative because I’m a huge fan of films and TV so being able to know how
stories are written is something I enjoyed a lot and being able to write are
own story then make it into our own short film gave me a lot of joy and I
learned a lot from it. When I look back at last year I would say my biggest
accomplishment is making my own website because I found this to a very long and
challenging process. So when I figure out the right coding method to make my
website I was happy to see my fully completed website. Overall I enjoy the course
it’s the type of work I enjoy.
Sports
The sports I play are:
Boxing
Muay Thai
Wrestling
Jiu Jitsu
MMA
I use to be not a fan of sports and use start some like football, GAA etc.
but eventually after not playing a sport for a while I decide to start a self-defense sport and started Jiu Jitsu. From there I picked up the rest one by one and
boxing turned out to be my favorite even though I have dyspraxia. It's still
one of my favorite things to do.
Favorite films
1. lord of the rings franchise
2. Rocky/Creed franchise

I really enjoyed writing this post and just being able to express myself I enjoyed.
Hi Jamie, your blog looks great and stands out in the best way and I have enjoyed learning more about you and what you do. I too love Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia and consider it a modern day masterpiece in our troubled and greedy planet we call Earth. I agree with you on the modules, I also enjoyed writing my own story and creating a film. Your blog is intriguing and super easy to follow.
ReplyDeleteHi Jamie! Great introduction. Well done on your achievements from Year 1, a few of these modules can be quite challenging, but seeing the end result is always so satisfying. You seem to be a very active person sporting-wise. I don't have much of an interest in sports but it is very impressing that you manage to stay as active as you do along with college work. Kudos to you!

Hi Jamie, Making a website is really tough or at least I thought so, I was also pretty proud of my own website I made about Will Smith's music career. I also train MMA, Muay Thai, Kickboxing, Wrestling and jiu jitsu. It's tough with college taking up all my time and I'm sure you're feeling that too but keep going with it, it's really rewarding and fun while keeping you active. Except wrestling, the human body was not designed for that.
ReplyDeleteHi Jamie,
ReplyDeleteReading about the sports you do is really impressive! I'd love to start training in self defense. I also really enjoyed the movie Shawshank Redemption. It's an all time classic. The layout and use of photos in this blog looks great. I look forward to reading more of your blogs.

Hi Jamie,
ReplyDeleteI knew you did boxing but I never knew you did Wrestling and MMA. I would love to do an MMA class someday. I think it would be really fun to do. I am also a huge fan of the Lord of the Rings franchise. I noticed you put in “favourite films” as the title for your favourite series by mistake just to let you know. I also really enjoyed watching the Stranger Things series.
I look forward to reading some of your future blogs.

Hi Jamie,
ReplyDeleteI knew you did boxing in the college and not too far from Blanchardstown shopping centre but I never knew you did MMA, wrestling and Jiu Jitsu but I'd say you have great fun with them. Personally i didn't enjoy storytelling last year, I thought that i didn't learn much from it and we were expected to have a lot of work done for it , I think that you have a good choice of movies and they are all classics. Anyway good blog anyway.
Michael
Hi jamie.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed reading your introduction blog today.
I really admire you for doing so many comnbat sports. I myself love fitness and go gym lots but I am still a huge wimp and would never do any form of fighting. I do love watching boxing though.
I am glad you are enjoying this course as so many people are not.
